Our Hartley Botanical Greenhouse rests on a foundation of old Virginia brick amid views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the farm’s rolling hills.  Surrounding the greenhouse, our horticulturalist designed beds of annual and perennial plants to provide an ideal combination of aesthetic beauty and culinary enjoyment. 

Our organic garden produces ample flowers, fruits and vegetables for our family, staff and guests.  Starting with early spring lettuces, peas, carrots, specialty greens, asparagus we transition into our summer crops of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, onions, beans, garlic and herbs throughout the growing season.
